Professional Development Certificate in
Operations, Logistics & Supply Chain Management

Overview

The economic challenges brought about by the pandemic, geopolitical developments, and technological progress have exposed vulnerabilities in operations and supply chains and raised concerns about the resilience of organisations. According to the Supply Chain Management Review, fewer organizations were able to achieve their business goals in 2023 due to these disruptions. This has reignited the debate between lean and resilient supply chains.

The Operations, Logistics and Supply Chain Management professional development certificate aims to help quantify the trade-off between leanness and resilience, enabling the creation of innovative business models and the implementation of solutions that can mitigate the trade-off, allowing organizations to better serve their customers. With increasing customer demands, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations, growing network fragmentation, deglobalization, and rapid technological advancements, the role of operations, logistics and supply chain management has expanded beyond coordinating material, information, and cash flows.
